Courtney Ward is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher. She enjoys spreading the light of the
practice and believes yoga offers something for everyone. She aims to guide students toward
their most optimal practice by giving them tools to meet their physical goals through greater
body awareness, intentional full breathing and a deep attention to creating a mindful lifestyle.
When Courtney started practicing yoga in 2011, she felt a strong sense of peace and invigoration
that brought her back to her mat again and again. In 2016, Courtney completed a 200-hr yoga
teacher training and began teaching the same year. She went on to complete her 300-hr yoga
teacher training in January 2020. Courtney also works in Learning & Development at a software
company where she spends her daylight hours creating and managing training programs. She
hopes to use her knowledge of corporate stressors to create a yoga environment that teaches
students how to take their peace from the mat and into their world. Teaching is Courtney’s
purpose in life. She’s currently working on completing a Master of Science in Instructional
Design (learning & development content creation).
When she’s not studying or at the studio, she’s spending time with her nephew, Matthew, and her dog, Honeybear.
