Kim began practicing yoga in 2012 when she was working on her bachelor’s degree. Then, while taking a break from graduate school in 2018, she began her journey as an instructor. She is now a 500 hour RYT from Peachtree Yoga Center in Sandy Springs and continues to grow in her practice as a student and a teacher. During her 200-hour training, Kim was initiated into meditation, which deeply impacts her life both on and off the yoga mat. Rumi said, “When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving through you, a joy.” From restorative to intermediate, this quote inspires Kim’s classes. Her style is authentic, encouraging students to tune into their lively inner guide and experience their own river of joy. She hopes that students leave her classes feeling a little lighter and burning a little brighter.
